Mid Century Modern Decor

Mid Century Modern Decor, Decorating with plants

I'm loving the mid century modern trend at the moment, from the warm walnut and rosewood veneers to the iconic styling of the Eames, Risom and Bertoia furniture. I think plants also play an important role in creating the mid century modern look, and choosing the right plants or trees can really make a difference. Seeing leafy greens as decoration in a room with a few key pieces of mid century inspired furniture will look amazing.

Decorating with plants, mid century modern

When using plants as part of your interior styling, try tropical plants which I think lend themselves particularly well to the mid century look, think 1970's Miami beach house with warm wood tones and crisp white walls.

Our artificial Palm trees, Bamboo and succulents such as Agave plants look fantastic, benefitting from low maintenance, with realistic foliage, no one will ever know they are fake. Try placing your plants in bronze and gold effect pots or in planters with legs, or even in hanging pots for true mid century style.
